Wild Medicine Walk: Foraging and Tincture Making

Ever wonder about the plants growing right under your feet? What most people call "weeds" are often nature’s most potent, time-tested remedies. Join us for a hands-on, two-hour immersion into the world of backyard herbalism as we walk into a living classroom.

What We’ll Do:
The Identification Walk (Hour 1): We’ll hit the trail to meet the common, powerful plants hiding in plain sight (like plantain, mullein, and queens Ann’s lace). You’ll learn exactly how to spot them safely, differentiate them from look-alikes, and discover their traditional healing properties.

Ethical Harvesting: Before we pick a single leaf, we’ll cover the golden rules of foraging—how to harvest sustainably, safely, and with deep respect for the local ecosystem.

The Tincture Workshop (Hour 2):You’ll learn the simple science of extraction, how to choose the right alcohol bases, and step-by-step instructions to press and strain your own extracts.

What’s Included:
Guided plant identification walk with an experienced herbalist.
